Jiri George Danihel, founder of House Inspection Associates, is a full member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI #243135), ITA trained, with over 5,000+ documented inspections to his credit. Clients benefit from his exceptional inspection training, as well his 12 years experience as an owner of a general contracting company. He is certified as a Mold Remediation Technician by the Indoor Air Quality Association Training Institute (Certificate #00951.) The IAQA was established in 1995 to promote uniform standards, procedures and protocol in the indoor air quality industry. Jiri holds Level 1 Infrared Camera Certification, used to find energy loss areas in homes and commercial buildings, and finding mold and moisture in concealed areas in basements and wall cavities. Relying on a B.S. in Information Technology, Jiri oversees the company's computerized reporting system. HIA reports, which include summaries, detailed sections and photos, are very clear and are easily followed. Reports are e-mailed in as a link to PDF file to clients and agent the same day of the inspection. Prior to Jiri's 18 year career as an inspector and an owner of a general contracting company, he served in the U.S. Air Force. He believes that his professional and Air Force training has given him the right combination for the home inspection industry: doing his job with precision, respect and pride. He is fluent in English and Czech.

Josef Cerny

Maryland licensed & Virginia Certified Property Inspector

Maryland licensed & Virginia Certified Property Inspector Josef Cerny, in addition to his training in home inspections, holds a B.A. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and also holds an Associate of Science Degree from NOVA. Josef’s degrees and six-plus years of specialized training and work experience in electrical engineering are invaluable when inspecting homes. His experience includes the installation, maintenance, repair, and oversight of electrical wiring projects in commercial and industrial settings, and installation of electrical systems in residential buildings, offices, schools and hospital facilities. He has held responsibility for inspecting, trouble-shooting and repairing electrical installations in those facilities at the component level (complex analog, digital and RF circuits.) Josef has also managed groups of employees engaged in the installation of railway systems, communication networks and electronic fire signalization. He is certified as a Mold Remediation Technician by the Indoor Air Quality Association Training Institute (Certificate #00948.) The IAQA was established in 1995 to promote uniform standards, procedures and protocol in the indoor air quality industry. Josef also holds Level 1 Infrared Camera Certification, used to find energy loss areas in homes and commercial buildings, and finding mold and moisture in concealed areas in basements and wall cavities in basements and wall cavities.
